Classic Mantels was established more than 30 years ago with a focus on handcrafting classic English style fireplaces in the finest materials.

Over the years we have seen both competitors and fashions come and go, but we have always remained true to our original ideal of carefully crafting bespoke luxury fire surrounds using only traditional joinery and masonry techniques.

We are a small family-owned company and employ a small team of highly skilled joiners and masons, who all take great pride in their work.

They carefully select the material needed to produce each fireplace, taking time to ensure that the unique natural beauty of the stone or wood selected will show through. It’s then onto the bench where each mantel is lovingly handcrafted.

Every fireplace is as individual as the house it will one day belong to. Everything we produce is handmade to order in our West Sussex workshops to your exact requirements, making sure it will perfectly fit the style of your home.
